Case ManagerDo you have a passion for helping youth?Do you want to give back to the community?Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has one Full Time Shelter Case Manager position available at Lighthouse Sheakley Center for Youth. The scheduled hours for this position are Monday through Friday first shift.Essential Functions : Candidate will serve as a Lighthouse representative on a community-wide homeless prevention project to provide strengthening and stabilizing services to families in Cincinnati at risk of homelessness Candidate will provide intensive case management to homeless youth 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness. Duties will consist of assisting in harm reduction, in-depth assessments, helping to secure stable housing or shelter, employment readiness, monitoring mental health / substance abuse concerns, linking to community resources and aftercare follow-up. Timely and accurate data entry and monitoring client outcomes is required. Crisis de-escalation and group facilitation skills are a must. Willing and able to work a flexible schedule and be on feet for extended periods of time. Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions as part of outreach efforts.Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in human services or closely related field, OR High School Diploma with three years of relevant experience Experience working with homeless or at risk youth or working in a social service agency is preferred Prefer candidates who have experience working with harm reduction principles, particularly with regard to sexual risk, substance abuse, mental illness and LGTBQ.
