This is a  full-time   remote  position.

About the role

As we broaden our range of services and team, we're on the hunt for dynamic new talent to elevate our brand. The Business Development Representative will play a pivotal role in supporting our Sales and Marketing teams by funneling prospective clients into discovery calls and product demonstrations, aiming to convert them into long-term clients. This role offers a stimulating work environment, along with a unique chance to gain valuable insights into the complexities of pharmaceutical compliance and licensing. There's also a clear growth path, with potential for advancement to a Sales Account Executive position. We're actively marketing both our consultancy services and our SaaS-based offerings either as a package or individually. With projections to triple our growth in the next two years, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a rapidly expanding organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in pre-qualifying leads, setting up introductory sales calls, and entering qualified leads into Salesforce.
  • Follow up on opportunities by contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails and follow-up to website or trade show interest.
  • If needed, be able to present basic information regarding Pharma Solutions to potential clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market by looking outside the normal channels
  • Report to the VP of Sales on a weekly / monthly / quarterly metrics results

Work Experience Qualifications :

  • Possess proper phone and email etiquette.
  • A strong work ethic with consistent attention to details with multi-faceted projects
  • Posses strong writing skills
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Strong time management skills to complete projects by deadlines.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their projects.
  • Computer skills (basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills and Teams required).
  • Maintain excellent verbal, writing, and language skills.
  • Hands on experience with cold calling sales techniques
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Experience with auto dialers a plus
  • Track record of achieving sales quota
  • Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry a plus
  • Basic knowledge of selling SaaS a plus.
