Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive lighting control designs using advanced software tools such as Revit and CAD.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Create detailed schematics and layout designs for various projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary data for design implementation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all designs.
- Prepare documentation for project proposals, including specifications and cost estimates.
- Utilize Bluebeam for effective project management and collaboration with team members.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in lighting technology and design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in lighting design with proficiency in Revit and NavisWorks.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and schematic development.
- Ability to create innovative layout designs that meet client needs.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with CAD is beneficial but not required.
