Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and installation of electrical & lighting systems in commercial and government settings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including troubleshooting and wiring installation. Experience running crews and operating equipment is also highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, repairs, and installation of electrical & lighting systems
- Troubleshooting electrical problems
- Installation of new wiring or other components
- Running crews and coordinating with colleagues
- Operating equipment such as trenchers, backhoes, and lift trucks
Requirements:
- CURRENT DRIVER'S LICENSE
- DOT CARD
- HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE, G.E.D., OR EQUIVALENT TRAINING
- JOURNEYMAN'S LICENSE (NOT SIGNED INTO A J-CARD)
- 4-5 APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM COMPLETION
- 5 YEARS MINIMUM ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE
Desirable Skills:
- POSITIVE COLOR IDENTIFICATION OF CONDUCTORS
- READING AND INTERPRETING BLUEPRINTS AND SCHEMATICS
- OPERATING POWER TOOLS
- DIGGING TRENCHES AND USING HAND TOOLS OR POWER EQUIPMENT
- SAFE WORK PRACTICES AND PROTOCOLS
