About Us:
Electryfy is a leading commercial electrical contracting company specializing in lighting, electrical, and EV charging solutions in South Florida areas. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and work on-site at our Ft. Lauderdale office.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support our commercial and industrial. The ideal candidate will work closely with our project managers, electricians, and clients to ensure high-quality, code-compliant electrical designs and installations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and review electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Create electrical layouts, load calculations, and panel schedules.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, state, and local electrical codes.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to support installations.
- Perform site visits and inspections as needed.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues on projects.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to project progress.
- Assist with estimates and project budgeting accordingly with the engineering produced during the estimating stage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering (contracting experience preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and local regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- PE license is a plus but not required.
- Estimating experience is a plus!
