Overview :
Join our client dynamic Colorado team of Civil Engineers in need of a motivated and experienced Project Engineer. This role will be multi focused in land development, municipal projects and permitting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of projects while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Management :
Lead and manage oil and gas permitting, land development, and municipal projects from initiation to completion.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including surveyors, environmental specialists, and other engineers.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Permitting and Compliance :
Prepare and submit oil and gas permits and related documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
Design and Development :
Oversee the design of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Prepare site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts using Civil 3D and other relevant software.
Municipal Projects :
Engage with local municipalities to understand project requirements and expectations.
Develop engineering solutions for municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water supply, and wastewater systems.
Communication and Collaboration :
Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Participate in project meetings, provide technical expertise, and contribute to project decision-making.
Documentation and Reporting :
Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
Maintain organized project files and documentation for future reference and audits.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
Registered PE license in Colorado or 8 - 10 years experience in municipal land development projects
Computer skills in Word, Excel, Bluebeam, MS Project, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro
