Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.
Duties
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closing.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring compliance with contracts.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize project management software such as Prolog and Bluebeam for documentation and reporting.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates and manage change orders using HeavyBid.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to address any issues or changes in project scope.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenses, and timelines for reporting purposes.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in construction estimating techniques and contract management.
- Experience with Civil 3D for design and drafting purposes is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in project management methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Knowledge of HeavyBid for cost estimation and bidding processes.
- Excellent project coordination skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on building effective solutions in challenging situations.
