Administrative Assistant/Inventory Specialist
Lightning Express Delivery Service, Inc. is a locally owned trucking company and 3rd party warehouse looking for a positive, motivated, and ambitious person to join our team! To succeed at Lightning Express Delivery Service, Inc, you should be a team player, have great communication skills, and be goal-oriented; be able to multi-task, be able to re-prioritize daily workloads based on customer demands, be able to navigate several different customer web portals and computer programs, and be able to collaborate effectively with other departments.
**Hours required: 8:30am - 5:00pm**

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Creating next-day routes for all staff drivers and vehicles as per customer requests
- Preparing all customer paperwork, including BOLs and packing slips
- Resolving service and delivery issues
- Maintain electronic and physical inventory systems
- Interface with the warehouse and customers about all inventory-related inquiries
- Notate any OS&D on all paperwork and all systems; notify all customers appropriately
- Audit inventory levels between computers and warehouse; between customers and warehouse on a regular basis
- Analyze and reconcile any discrepancies in inventory
- Conducting daily cycle counts in the warehouse
- Maintain physical and electronic files
- Sending daily emails to customers confirming receipt of all material in the warehouse
- Entering all relevant inventory information into all computer systems
- Following up with customers on linehaul routing shipments
- Create and send monthly inventory reports for billing purposes
- Provide written and verbal customer service in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in creating and improving organizational methods within the department
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year previous experience in warehousing, inventory, or transportation (required)
- Minimum of 1-year previous experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook; Excel; Word)
- 1-year of forklift experience (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and management
- Be able to lift 50lb, unassisted

Salary:
- $20.00-$23.00/hour, depending on experience
