Position Overview:
As a Technology Specialist I, at Lightning Transportation, you will be a key player in ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly while supporting the overall mission of being "Built to Serve." This position is vital in training and supporting end-users on various industry-specific and office applications. You will play an active role supporting end users with various software and hardware application needs. Your commitment to providing excellent service, attention to detail, and proactive support will help ensure we stay "Hard Working" and "Customer Focused."
You will also contribute to creating technical documentation, videos, and other resources, and may be asked to assist with non-technical tasks as needed to support co-workers, or fulfilling a “find a need fill the need” directing to Lightning Transportation the company reinforcing our "Family Oriented" culture.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- EndUser Management & Training:
- Train employees on applications, ensuring users are proficient and confident in utilizing the tools available.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for all endusers.
- Develop and deliver training materials, including guides, videos, and documentation.
- Hardware / Device configurations and installations for all endusers.
- Application Administration & Configuration:
- End user support for officerelated applications like MS 365, Front but not limited to.
- End user support of industryrelated applications, such as ELS (Lightning Connect), Breeze, SecureFuel, TMW, Imaging but not limited to.
- Documentation & Process Management:
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, training videos, user guides, and other resources.
- Collaborate with various departments to improve processes and support business initiatives with effective efficient innovative technology solutions.
Hardware & Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Maintenance of company related software and hardware.
- Assist with tasks such as enduser devices; cell phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, printers, inventory, but not limited to.
- Handle tasks that may fall outside traditional technology roles but contribute to the betterment of the company.
- Act as a crossdepartment resource, helping coworkers in other areas as needed.
- Manage your individual projects & tasks effectively, efficiently and on time.
Qualifications:
- 0 4 years’ experience with enduser training and application support.
- Experience with MS365 user application knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical staff.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to multitask is critical and assists in various company areas when needed.
