GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
As our Technical Specialist III, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly while supporting the administration and configuring of software on behalf of the company. Your role will be vital for supporting end users with various software and hardware application needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure users are proficient and confident in utilizing the tools available by providing training, technical support and assistance with troubleshooting with industryrelated applications such as MS 365, Front, ELS (Lighting Connect), Breeze, SecureFuel, TMW, Imaging and more.
- Administrator industryrelated applications, such as TMW, Imaging, GPS, EDI, API, Crystal Reports, and Automation Software Robots.
- Ensure proper integration, operational function, and performance of applications through EDI, ADI management and custom SQP queries.
- Analyze business needs and provide recommendations for application improvements or new implementations.
- Develop and deliver training materials, including guides, videos, and documentation.
- Hardware/Device configurations and installations for all endusers.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, training videos, user guides, and other resources.
- Collaborate with various departments to improve processes and support business initiatives with effective efficient innovative technology solutions.
- Maintenance of company related software and hardware.
- Assist with tasks such as enduser devices; cell phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, printers, inventory, and more.
- Be proactive, driven and committed to making the position their own, going above and beyond to participate in a high performing team.
- Implement EOS within your position to enhance your skills and productivity while continually promoting the company’s core values.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU SHOULD HAVE
- High School Diploma/GED
- 59 years of experience with enduser training and application support.
- Experience with MS365 user application knowledge.
- Knowledge of industryrelated software (TMW, Imaging, GPS, EDI, API, Crystal Reports, SQL Query and automation tools) is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to effectively communicate, use critical thinking, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Lifting less than 25lbs, pushing/pulling less than 10lbs.
- Office setting with temperaturecontrolled offices with moderate noise levels.
- Outside work is limited.
