What You'll Do
- Deliver at least 1M in annual new business growth by employing predominantly outbound sales motions.
- Make targeted outbound sales calls to engage large enterprise prospects, identify key decision-makers, and qualify their needs.
- Strategically manage a designated sales territory, addressing client needs such as billing issues, support requests, and technical questions. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve implementation and operational challenges for enterprise clients.
- Employ consultative selling to work closely with enterprise prospects to understand their unique business needs, offering tailored solutions that showcase how Lightspeed's products can deliver value and drive operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Lightspeed’s product suite, competitive advantages, and industry trends, enabling effective communication of features and benefits to enterprise clients.
- Cultivate strong relationships with large dealerships and enterprise clients, becoming a trusted advisor who identifies growth opportunities and drives long-term partnerships.
- Partner with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to implement a sales strategy to meet revenue and profit objectives and ensure an excellent customer experience for large accounts.
What you'll have:
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, with a focus on large enterprise accounts highly desired. Preferably delivering complex B2B SaaS solutions to complex business problems.
- Track record of managing complex sales cycles and securing strategic deals by understanding customer problems and crafting tailored solutions, leading to annual success in exceeding quota targets of $1M .
- Proven success of effectively generating 50% of a sales pipeline via outbound strategic and defined sales methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with Powersports, RV, Marine, Golf, or Trailer industries is a significant advantage. Experience with finance/insurance or technology industries is also beneficial.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for managing complex sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence enterprise-level decision-makers.
- Must be self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- A builder with the desire, creativity and tenacity to help stand-up more formalized enterprise outbound sales processes and motions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
- Willingness to adopt new sales techniques and continuously develop professional skills.
- Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel as needed for trade shows and client visits.
