Position Summary:
LED Intellectual Properties is seeking a dedicated and reliable Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position supports the company’s Quality Policy and is crucial in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse. The successful candidate will handle shipping and receiving tasks, inventory management, and equipment operation while ensuring that products are processed and shipped in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Prepare, ship, and check daily shipments to customers and/or vendors. Frequently pack and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs (occasionally 75 lbs).
• Pack orders accurately and promptly, ensuring proper handling of products.
• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or using equipment such as a forklift.
• Count, weigh, sort, pack, and unpack products of various sizes.
• Maintain accurate inventory by ensuring SKU’s are in the correct location and ordered as necessary.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Perform occasional team lifts of up to 300 lbs.
• Independently complete local deliveries and pick-ups using a company van.
• Operate a forklift daily.

Qualifications:

• No formal degree required, but the ability to learn quickly and possess basic skills is essential.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Previous experience with a stand-up forklift is required, and an OSHA forklift certification is preferred.
• At least 3 years of warehouse and material handling experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Clean driving record with a valid CA driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with fellow employees.
• Ability to maintain cooperative and productive relationships with individuals and teams.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed work instructions, job travelers, and pull sheets.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify inventory SKU’s.
• Critical thinker with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• The role involves frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs, occasionally 75 lbs) and occasional team lifting (up to 300 lbs).
• The employee must be able to sit for up to 3 hours at a time and perform visual inspections, including through a microscope if necessary.
• All tasks are carried out in a manufacturing environment, requiring the employee to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
