Position Overview
Lightstone is seeking to hire one summer intern within its new Real Estate Crowdfunding Platform unit. This intern will work directly with the Chief Growth Officer on digital marketing, social media, SEO, brand strategy, go-to-market strategy, and UX testing / CRO. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work in a startup environment on the launch of a brand but within a well-capitalized, thriving company with several decades of operating history. You will work alongside and learn from one of the leading marketing minds in the fintech space, who helped to launch the EquityMultiple brand and grow its customer base to over 5,000 investors.

Essential Functions
- Growth/Performance Marketing
- Standing up and optimizing paid search SEM campaigns
- Standing up and optimizing paid social campaigns
- Building a robust organic social media presence in service of the new brand and key stakeholders within the company.
- Iterate on programmatic display ads, testing various elements (layouts, copy, use of imagery, etc.)
- Leverage third-party data to iterate on and optimize audience strategy
- Brand Strategy and Product Marketing
- Test brand elements for early-stage refinement of the visual identity and messaging framework
- Adhere to brand guidelines as they emerge and act as a torchbearer for brand consistency.
- Work with senior marketing personnel to conduct market research, stakeholder validation, and focus groups to validate key elements of the brand strategy and refine understanding of ideal customer profile(s) (ICP)
- Explore AI Use Cases and Tools
- Leverage ChatGPT, Claude, and other LLMs to drive efficiency and creativity in your work.
- Leverage platforms like Relevance.ai and Replit to explore growth-hacking opportunities and accelerate innovation in digital marketing.
- Reporting and Analytics
- Monitor trends and surface insights from the analytics stack using Google Analytics, Mixpanel, ahrefs, SparkToro, SimilarWeb, and a host of other tools.
- Assist with data entry and report preparation to support the team’s efforts.
- Work with Product personnel to understand customer behavior and work toward refinement of the UX and conversion funnel.
- Education experience in Marketing, English, Business a plus
- Certification or continuing education in AI, UX design, digital marketing, design, or media a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including basic understanding of front-end software development, tracking, and the building blocks of digital experience.
- A passion for brand building, customer acquisition, guerilla marketing, and growing market share from scratch.
- Baseline competency with Excel
- Strong design thinking and a passion for digital aesthetics
- A statistical mindset and understanding of cause and effect.
- Superior verbal, written communications and presentation skills
- Strong process management skills
- Capable of managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines with dependability
- Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Demonstrated ability to identify errors, problems, opportunities and effectively problem solve
- $30/hr - pursuing a Bachelors Degree
- $45/ hr- pursuing a Master’s Degree
