What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - After Hours Weekends position at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care?
Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care, founded as Joliet Area Community Hospice, serves 11 counties in Illinois. We have a state-of-the-art facility and the first free standing hospice inpatient unit in Illinois. We have over a 35-year history for providing compassionate professional care to terminally ill patients and their families. We are state-licensed and Medicare/Medicaid certified.
We are seeking an overnight weekend RN to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8pm-8:30am. This is a travelling position which supports patients primarily in the Northern Cook and Lake counties. RN will respond to PRN visits as needed. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of one (1) year nursing experience in home health, critical care or long-term care, although hospice experience is preferred.
