Lignetics, Inc., located in Broomfield, CO, is a $300M wood product manufacturing business with approximately 30 manufacturing locations across the US stretching from Oregon to Maine, and Canada. The business has rapidly expanded in the last 24 months through multiple acquisitions.? Lignetics is developing a portfolio of consumer brands in several different categories including wood pellets for home heating, BBQ pellets for grilling, wood pellets and shavings for animal bedding, and wood fiber-based cat litter. Each of our products have unique features and benefits but are all linked with a wonderful recycled, renewable, sustainable, and carbon neutral story. We turn recycled saw dust into value-add, branded consumer products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Complete various financial close and reporting tasks with our Financial Close and Reporting team (month end tasks, compiling data for expense analysis, etc.)
- Work on projects with our Regional Finance team (examples include researching transactions, putting together presentation slide decks, compiling financial data for monthly reviews, etc.)
- Support sales and operations personnel on inventory accounting, research, and bill of material development
- Assist with various projects / tasks related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax, payroll, and other accounting functions
- Assist with acquisition and integration related projects
- Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper coding and accounting treatment
- Assist with year-end audits and other ad hoc audits as required by external auditors
- Assist with special accounting projects and ad hoc tasks as needed
