Job Type: Full time
Shift Schedule: 2nd and 3rd Shift available (3p - 11p and 11p to 6a)
Salary: $23-25 / hr Shift differential based on experience
*Hourly incentive bonus earning up to an additional $2 an hour*
** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
- Responsible for directing and regular monitoring of the shift performance and the communication/coordination of improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for safety initiatives, communication, and training of employees on respective shift
- Communicate with production and maintenance employees regarding status of work flow
- Responsible for yard and production activities as required by vacancies and other customer demand requirements
- Other accountabilities and duties as assigned by Production Manager
Requirements
- Strong communication and team building competencies
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- High School diploma or GED required
- Will need to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand and sit for long periods of time
- Will need to climb up and down stairs to get in and out of loader with no fear of confined spaces or heights
- Requires the ability to do simple math calculations, use basic tools, and exhibit mechanical aptitude when conducting loader maintenance
