Job Summary
This is a full-time Production Worker/Package Operator role at Lignetics, Inc.. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing two main functions: bagging and baler operations. The individual must be able to operate machinery safely and efficiently, assist other production areas as needed, and maintain a clean workstation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery in a productive manner using established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist other production areas as needed.
- Maintain a clean workstation.
- Perform the following tasks:
- Bagging operation:
- Stack bags on pallets, put covers on pallets, and place finished goods in the correct warehouse location.
- Filling pellet sample cups every ton for quality control information.
- Tagging pallet with Quality Control tag with initials, date, ton number, and shift completed.
- Baler operation:
- Position requires accurate completion of Bagger production report.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
- Good eye, hand, and foot coordination required.
- Pass company forklift training.
- Read and interpret scales.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust weight and timing of baler and other simple maintenance problems.
- Able to perform simple math calculations.
