Function and Scope :
The plant financial analyst has primary responsibility for operational data analysis including production balancing, freight transactions, and inventory reporting to the financial records.
This position will within our accounting and finance group, working closely with our customer service, operations, and others within the plant located on Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop and foster relationships with the accounting and finance departments as well as plant operations, to ensure that financial outcomes are a true reflection of operational efficiency.
Conduct thorough analysis of financial results and key performance drivers and effectively communicate these insights to plant leadership.
Provide effective financial stewardship in tracking material production through to customer sales utilizing SAP in detailed records of balancing inventory.
Partner with accounts payable and procurement for spend reporting and decision making.
Support internal control processes and procedures including fixed assets, cost accounting and data integrity.
Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
Data analytics from SAP to Power BI and other visualization tools.
The position reports to the Finance Manager.
The financial analyst is an active resource to support accounting, operations, and customer service to gather and disseminate information to accomplish organizational goals.

Minimum Requirements :
Relevant college degree or relevant experience in finance and data analytics.
MS office applications efficiency.
Previous experience with SAP / ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications :
Undergraduate college degree in business.
3 years of experience working within a plant / distribution environment with inventory records.
Familiarity with freight transactions.
Prior work experience with SAP / ERP systems.
Skilled in Microsoft applications.
Experience with data analysis / visualization tools such as Power BI.
