We are seeking staff who loves working with children and want a career and not a job in Childcare. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development and or willing to learn and take classes and trainings. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with children and their families while ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
• Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills among children.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including sanitizing toys and play areas regularly.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Plan and execute educational activities that align with early childhood education principles.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.

Skills

• Strong caregiving skills with experience in childcare settings such as daycare or preschool.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience in toddler care, infant care, and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor when working with young children.
• Creativity in planning engaging activities that stimulate children's learning and development.

Must be willing to work Monday-Friday. Hours will be discusse. Operational hours are 6am-6pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• After school
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
