We are looking for a driven and efficient Administrator preferably certified with the Delaware Department of Education.

When you join our team as a Center Director you will:
· Hire, engage, and develop a team of “best in class” educators to be passionate and committed professionals
· Partner with parents in order to provide the best care and education for their children
· Build positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
· In every aspect, assume responsibility for the daily operations of the center
Required Skills and Experience:
- Early Childhood Education: 3 years (Required)
- Leadership: 3 years (Required) - preferably in a daycare/preschool setting
- Director: 2 years (Required)
- A strong ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team of educators
- A love for children and a strong desire to see them grow and learn academically, physically, and emotionally
- Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go together
- Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children and staff safe, and engage in physical activity with children
- Ability to speak, read, and write well in English
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university to include fifteen (15) college credits in early childhood education with 3 credits from each of the following areas: child development/learning, environment/curriculum, social-emotional development, observation/assessment; and one three-credit course in an early childhood elective.
*Already having an Administrator’s Certificate through the Delaware Department of Education is highly preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
