Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our Early Learning Center team. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of our center by assisting with clerical duties, providing classroom coverage as needed, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and ensuring a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Provide classroom coverage when teachers are on breaks or absent.
- Support daily operations by helping with meal preparation and serving.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in early childhood education or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative role or childcare setting preferred.
