Afternoon/Closing Child Care Assistant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of 2 to 3 years of age, providing support in their daily activities, and fostering their development through play and structured learning.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment.
• Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Maintain effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive atmosphere.
• Assist with behavior management strategies to support children's emotional well-being.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the childcare area.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
• Knowledge of infant care practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques is an asset.
• Ability to educate children through engaging activities and play.
• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on nurturing children's development.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
• A genuine love for working with children and creating a positive impact in their lives.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
