Job Overview:
- Advises and consults with Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Socal Services to provide appropriate dietary services.
- Assess patient/resident medications for food and/or drug interactions.
- Interpret patient/resident laboratory results in order to individualize dietary guidelines.
- Provides diet counseling service in accordance with the plan of care as ordered by the patient/resident's physician, and approved by the IDT.
