What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner/Busser position at Lilac Hedge Farm?
Lilac Hedge Farm is seeking friendly, outgoing staff members to be the front of house team for our kitchen business. The job includes taking orders from customers, running food, and bussing tables. This is an entry-level, tipped position with room to grow.
Responsibilities include:
-Availability to work from May-October in the same set schedule (students who depart for school or have fall activity commitments will not be considered).
-accurately taking customer orders and cash handling
-interacting directly with customers in accepting their orders, delivering orders, representing LHF as the face of our kitchen
-working closely with expediter as last line of defense against kitchen errors
-carrying trays of food from kitchen to tables
-keeping guest areas neat and tidy, keeping guest supplies stocked
-creating a hospitable atmosphere for guests

-Saturday: 11 - 5 / 5 - 10
