As the Café Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, product quality, and a vibrant customer-centric environment that keeps guests coming back.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor café staff to deliver exceptional, personable customer service. Foster a collaborative team culture aligned with our values.
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day café operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for food preparation, coffee crafting, and presentation to uphold our reputation for artisanal excellence.
- Customer Experience: Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring every interaction builds loyalty and satisfaction.
- Staff Scheduling & Development: Create and manage schedules to meet business needs, provide performance feedback, and support employee growth.
- Point-of-Sale (POS) Oversight: Manage and troubleshoot POS systems to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor budgets, control expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with customers and the local community, embodying our mission to connect through great food and service.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in café management, restaurant management, or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, menu development, and barista skills.
- Expertise in shift management, team leadership, and customer satisfaction strategies.
- Proficiency with POS systems and familiarity with food service software is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on creating positive customer experiences.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving profitability in a café setting.
