Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality sandwiches by washing, cutting, slicing, and assembling fresh ingredients according to established standards and customer preferences.
- Deliver warm, friendly greetings and assist guests with menu inquiries, ensuring they make informed choices.
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process orders accurately, handle cash, and provide correct change.
- Wrap and package menu items neatly and efficiently for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards by maintaining a clean workstation, properly sanitizing equipment, and adhering to storage guidelines.
- Assist in unloading and organizing inventory from deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with team members to fulfill large or complex orders promptly.
- Actively contribute to a positive and productive team environment by staying organized, multitasking effectively, and maintaining a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
- MUST be located on Oahu, Hawaii
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in food service, quick-service restaurants, delis, or similar environments preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and remain calm under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Dependable team player with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Pay & Schedule:
- Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience).
- Full-time and part-time positions available, with flexible schedules.
- Shifts: 8-hour shifts, morning, day, evening, and night options available.
