Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Full-Time Floater to support both our Adult Day Health Program and Home Care Clients. This role requires a compassionate individual who is comfortable working in a structured day center setting as well as providing in-home care when needed due to call-outs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Adult Day Center, engaging clients in activities and ensuring their well-being.
- Step in to provide in-home care for clients when coverage is needed.
- Develop and facilitate fun and engaging activities for clients in the day center.
- Provide personal care assistance, companionship, and support to clients with intellectual disabilities and dementia.
- Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for all clients.
- Maintain clear communication with the care team to ensure seamless transitions between duties.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and dementia.
- Ability to work in both day center and home care settings as needed.
- Must be fun, energetic, and engaging to keep clients active and involved.
- Must pass a background check and physical.
- Must have a current TB test and CPR certification.
- Willingness to research and implement activities to enhance client engagement.
