Position Brand Description:
The Associate Director – Manufacturing Ops – IAPI Materials Management is responsible for providing supply chain and operational leadership in the areas of materials management and planning for Indy API manufacturing. This role, will guide the materials area to continually reduce variability and risk, maximize value, be a valued business partner, and move toward being viewed as a top tier supply chain function within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Leadership: Work with the materials group to create and implement a strategy which when implemented; delivers quality raw materials, in the right quantity, and the right time, at a good value to our business partners.
- Management: Oversee business processes to be compliant with quality and safety requirements, OSSCE standards, and meet business needs.
- Resource Management: Build, coach, and support a team, which will provide materials manage support to Indy API manufacturing. Responsible for developing the budget and business plans. Track and monitor business plan and financial budget.
- Communication: Assure that communication of materials management strategies, projects, metrics and actions to the Indy API business partner and company supply chain is thorough and complete.
- Project Management: Utilize broad experience base to influence and lead various raw materials / supply chain projects which will create value and efficiency for Indy API Manufacturing by partnering with other API functions or other business units.
Basic Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline
- Purchasing experience or background in chemical manufacturing.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain
