Host/Hostess
Our busy, established breakfast and lunch bistro is seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Hostess to join our team. This role is crucial to creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth service during our high-volume periods.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and seat guests, managing the flow of the dining room.
- Answer phones, take reservations, and handle to-go orders accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area.
- Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Support servers and other team members as needed.
- Pre-Closing duties to include various side-work tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address guest inquiries with professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and1 remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.2
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

- Hosting: 1 year (Preferred)
- Restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- New Mexico Food Handler's Certificate (Preferred)
