The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Lily Pad spaces. This role ensures consistent and high-quality execution across multiple sites, coordinates with site partners, manages the operational needs of the spaces, and handles the logistics for volunteer coordination. The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing Lily Pad’s mission of providing safe and welcoming environments for children in need.
Responsibilities:
Site Implementation and Maintenance
- Plan and oversee the implementation of Lily Pad spaces at partner sites, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and vision.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for each site.
- Coordinate with site partners to assess space requirements, resource needs, and site-specific considerations.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure spaces are maintained to operational standards and address any issues promptly.
Coordination and Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for site partners, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
- Work closely with the Space Designer to align designs with site-specific needs and program goals.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and other stakeholders to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Volunteer Logistics
- Coordinate and manage logistics for volunteer participation, including scheduling, task assignments, and resource distribution.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure an engaging and productive volunteer experience.
- Track volunteer hours and contributions, and provide recognition and feedback as appropriate.
Operational Oversight
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and materials needed to maintain Lily Pad spaces.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for space upkeep and usage guidelines.
- Track and report on project metrics, budgets, and outcomes to leadership.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, non-profit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in non-profit or multi-site implementation settings.
- Experience coordinating volunteers or managing community-based projects is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to problem-solve, adapt to challenges, and make informed decisions.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Ability to travel to multiple site locations several hours apart, overnight as well as some weekends.
- Comfortable working in an office setting and onsite at partner locations.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds independently. Frequently, items weighing over 30 pounds will require additional assistance via a volunteer partner or mechanical assistance. These could include couches, recliners and TV stands.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
