Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Care Attendant to provide exceptional care for pets in our care. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to ensure their well-being while their owners are away. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Duties
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, general care, and administering medication as needed.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets in your care by maintaining a clean and secure environment.
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the Lead promptly.
- Maintain communication with pet owners regarding their pet’s well-being through regular updates to the reception/Leadership team.
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding routines and preferences.
- Manage multiple pet assignments efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of animal care practices and behaviors, including experience with various breeds and species.
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and address any concerns or questions.
- Background in veterinary assistance or as a veterinary technician is a plus.
- Experience in pet sitting or working in a kennel environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting large dogs or carrying supplies.
- Skills in dog training can be beneficial for managing behavioral issues during care.

This position is an evening position, and will require weekend and holiday shifts. All major holidays are paid at time and a half. There is full and part time openings.
