Your Role as a Junior Financial Analyst Extraordinaire:

What You'll Do:
- Master Financial Reporting: Dive into preparing comprehensive financial reports and creating dynamic dashboards.
- Exciting Variance Analysis: Uncover trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement with exciting variance analysis.
- Key Player in Budgeting and Forecasting: Be a key player in the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data and performing financial modeling.
- Balance Sheet and Income Statement Reconciliation: Take charge of balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, providing timely insights to correct discrepancies.
- Collaborative Financial Information Gathering: Team up with various departments to gather financial information and support business initiatives.
- Month-End and Year-End Closing Activities: Get involved in the action with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Special Projects and Ad-Hoc Analyses: Jump into special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed, adding variety to your workday.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Finance or Accounting from a four-year college or university.
- Internship or previous work experience in finance is a plus.
- Finance experience in the property and casualty insurance market is a plus.
- Exceptional Analytical Skills: Master the art of interpreting complex data and making impactful, data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Financial Software: Excel in Microsoft Excel and other powerful tools like QuickBooks, SAP, SQL, and Power BI.
