As the Reinsurance Senior Accountant, youll be the hero ensuring our reinsurance journal entries, reconciliations, disclosures, and billings are spot-on and timely, both for GAAP and Statutory accounting. Youll own your processes and bring fresh ideas for improvements. Get ready to make a big impact and have some fun along the way!
What Youll Be Doing :
- Journal Entry Maestro : Prepare ceded premium and ceded loss journal entries and reconciliations every month.
- Disclosure Dynamo : Analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reinsurance financial statement disclosures.
- Audit Ace : Keep detailed workpapers that provide strong audit evidence.
- Statutory Superstar : Prepare Schedule F and Schedule P disclosures for the statutory annual statement.
- Transaction Detective : Provide detailed analyses and explanations of transactions.
- Billing Boss : Ensure reinsurance billings are prepared and submitted on time.
- Audit Ally : Prepare documentation for external auditors.
- Regulatory Reporter : Ensure timely submission of reports to various regulatory agencies.
- Project Pro : Assist in a variety of special projects.
- Process Perfectionist : Follow and improve company-established accounting processes.
