The Lima Family YMCA in Lima, OH is seeking Housekeeping Staff to join our team.

We are looking for applicants that can work the following (approximately 20 hours per week):

· Monday - Thursday, 9pm – 12:30am

· Friday, 8pm – 11:30pm

· Saturday, 5pm – 8:30pm

· Sunday, 5pm – 8:30pm

Pay Rate:
$11.00 per hour

General Function:

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping staff is responsible for the upkeep and general appearance of the entire building including locker rooms and related areas.

Requirements:

· Must have a high school diploma or GED.

· Must be capable of doing the physical requirements of the job including lifting up to 20 pounds.

· Must be able to work on feet for long periods of time.

· Must have reliable transportation to attend work.

· Minimum of 18 years of age.

· Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude.

· Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Along with staff members, responsible for keeping areas organized, equipment clean, and reports all damage and equipment failures to housekeeping supervisor.

· Deep cleans locker room areas including showers, toilets, sinks, lockers and floors.

· Setting up tables and chairs for rentals

· Maintains a clean and bright facility appearance by stocking paper goods and emptying waste containers.

· Performs routine inspections of facilities as a means of preventative maintenance.

· Applying salt and clearing sidewalks during inclement weather.
