The YMCA of Lima, OH is seeking lifeguards to join our team. Hours needed are for mornings, afternoons and evenings. Can discuss at interview.
Pay Rate:
· $12.50 per hour
General Function:
Under the direction of the Aquatics Director, the lifeguard is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas. This includes creating a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 16 years of age
· Must be Lifeguard Certified, or attend our lifeguard certification class (participation is limited)
· Reliable transportation to attend work
· Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
· Interested in contributing to the mission of the YMCA
Certifications:
· CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
· First Aid
· Lifeguard
