What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visitor Center Director position at Limestone Branch?
We are looking for a Visitor Center Director to join our Luxco team in Kentucky! The Visitor Center Director is responsible for developing and enhancing world-class visitor experiences at the Lux Row Distillers and Limestone Branch Distillery Visitor Centers in Kentucky. The role involves strategic planning, staff management, and community collaboration to promote MGP/Luxco brands and generate revenue.
What will you do?
Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage a team of Visitor Center Managers to enhance operations and optimize the visitor experience.
- Oversee and provide strategic direction for all Visitor Center experience at two Kentucky distilleries and coordinate VIP visits at Ross & Squibb Distillery.
- Oversee and provide strategic direction for all distillery events and brand activation events.
- Lead and coordinate regular training, incentives, and development plans for Visitor Center employees.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Kentucky Bourbon Trail and key competitors.
Business Analytics
- Demonstrate an extensive understanding of the marketplace with support and expertise from key stakeholders.
- Research, train, and remain updated on the portfolio of brands and the bourbon category.
- Possess a deep understanding of segment/brand P&L and drivers.
- Analyze category data to understand trends, brand health and implications.
Budget
- Accountable for management of assigned Marketing A&P segment budget details and administration.
- Provide strategic rationale for spending and reallocation, recommendations throughout the year.
Consumer Insight
- Develop an understanding of consumer target (demographics, psychographics, trends, etc.) for brands.
- Create a targeting strategy for tours, retail merchandise and brands.
- Identify, research, and analyze opportunities for consumer targets.
- Understand key trends affecting consumers and develop implications and opportunities.
Misc.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourism organizations and community partners to promote collaboration and enhance visitor offerings.
- Manage all public appearance requests that come through the Visitor Center including VIP tastings, events, and festivals.
