Role Overview : As the AVP of Product Development, you will lead the charge in developing innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our members. Your role will be pivotal in driving our company's growth, competitiveness, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Innovate : Monitor insurance and financial services market trends; identifying opportunities for new products and markets. Leverage data to spark creativity and drive innovation and execution of a go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate : Engage with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders, member collaboration groups, the sales team, and vendors, to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Deploy : Apply product development methodologies to sustain innovation and collaboration processes, ensuring growth objectives are met. This involves :
  • Capturing, prioritizing, and evaluating the feasibility of ideas.
  • Developing detailed business cases.
  • Designing solutions and enhancing membership experiences.
  • Overseeing the implementation of new solutions, including market release, financial planning, and multi-year roadmaps.
  • Lead : Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Provide transformational leadership to team members and peers on product development and project management disciplines, leveraging influence to promote effective change management and facilitate the adoption of changes throughout the organization.

Qualifications :

  • 7 years of product development experience
  • 10 years in the financial services and / or insurance industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to influence decisions and drive change
