The Role:
The Project Support Specialist provides overall coordination for all activities related to administration of projects for his or her specific department and/or team. This role is responsible for the organization, preparation, assistance and scheduling of residential and commercial installation projects. This role works closely with the department leaders and installers, accounting staff, and other administrators of the company. The Project Support Specialist must thrive in a team atmosphere, be comfortable under pressure, manage various priorities, all while meeting deadlines and being proactive.
Pay: $52,000-62,000/year
Schedule: Monday-Friday — 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate schedules for multiple employees and maintain deadlines for projects
- Organize and facilitate the permitting and subterranean locate process for various projects
- Organize proposals
- Collaborate and communicate with the project teams to identify, anticipate, and mitigate potential schedule risks by identifying critical path activities and developing contingency plans
- Maintain accurate electronic files and documentation
- Create comprehensive project schedules including all tasks, milestones, and resources required for successful project completion
- Work closely with project managers, local municipalities, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedules and successful project execution
- Maintain and coordinate specifications and multiple types of reports required for projects
- Strive to improve efficiency in all processes under his or her responsibility
- Assist with implementation of processes and documentation during construction phase services
Specific Duties:
- Pulling permits
- Processing underground locate requests
- Tracking proposals
- Tracking project timelines
- Submitting RFI's and COs
