Stockroom Attendant 2nd Shift

Job Summary: Reporting to the Stockroom/MRO Supervisor, the Stockroom Assistant will support Stockroom and Production control functions as well as provide customer support to Linamar employees and suppliers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Receive deliveries and put stockroom items away in proper location.

· Verify packing slip to amount shipped.

· Conduct cycle counting, stockroom transactions utilizing the Plex system, and check e-mail daily.

· Maintain shipping dock cleanliness.

· Drive mobile equipment to stage items and put away.

· Other Duties as assigned.

· Maintain area cleanliness.

Required Skills/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED; or 2 years stockroom experience.
• Ability complete required paperwork.
• Possess problem solving abilities.
• Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand use of manufacturing inventory items.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to obtain mobile equipment certification.
• Possess strong organizational skills.
• Ability to utilize a computer in a Windows environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment:

· The job works in conditions with constant exposure to noise, odors, dust, drafts and chemicals.

· May include seasonally hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Hourly full-time position 40 hours per week with overtime or weekend hours as needed to support production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
