Title : PSS Coordinator
Exemption Status : Non-Exempt
About the Role
The PSS Coordinator is a non-exempt role responsible for coordinating the contract administration processes for owner contracts, vendor contracts, and associated contracting documents. This includes change orders, insurance certificates, preliminary lien / lien notices, and bonds. The PSS Coordinator works closely with job teams and Construction Contract Specialist to process and execute contracts and change orders. In association with Managing Counsel and / or Construction Contract Specialist, the PSS Coordinator may provide individual and group training on contracting topics for job teams and internal departments. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of construction terminology and processes, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school graduate required, with some college a plus;
- 4 or more years of prior legal assistant / paralegal experience required; construction and / or contract experience a plus; and / or
- 4 or more years in construction industry with project administration and / or contract administration experience required
- Demonstrated excellence in common software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- General knowledge of construction terminology and processes
- Self-starter with organized and effective work habits
- Demonstrated problem solving and training skills
- Capable of exercising discretion and working independently to resolve problems and maintain a productive work environment
- Ability to multi-task
