What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist position at Lincoln Avenue Veterinary Clinic?
Our busy 3 doctor practice is seeking a professional and reliable team member. We are looking to hire someone full time who can work as a customer service representative and a veterinary technician assistant. We are a family-oriented team that believes in treating patients as our own and clients as family. Our customer service representatives are the client's first point of contact and as such represent the professional image of the practice to callers and visitors. Our veterinary technician assistants are responsible in aiding the veterinary team in providing the best care for our patients. The ideal candidate for this position must have strong customer service skills, is detail oriented, can multitask efficiently, has experience in animal care, can take direction, has a flexible schedule and must be willing to work on some Saturdays. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in working as a receptionist in an office environment and can perform basic computer skills and use a multiline phone system. Our veterinary practice would prefer to hire someone with a background in both veterinary reception and veterinary technician assisting, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
