Job Description
The Van Driver position is responsible for transporting consumers to and from the Clubhouse in a safe manner. This position is also responsible for identifying any maintenance or safety issues with the vehicle and reporting it to the appropriate personnel. The position reports to the PSR Clubhouse Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Meets all agency requirements including :
A. Reports to work on time and at the designated location.
Complete required trainings within established timeframes.
Complete all other duties as assigned and meets quality expectations.
2. Provides transportation to mental health consumers in the psychosocial rehabilitation program.
Transport members of the psychosocial rehabilitation program between home and program during assigned hours.
2. Facilitates and monitors routine maintenance on agency vehicle and facilitates arrangements for outside service when necessary.
Reports any problems with operation of vehicle in a timely manner.
Schedules and delivers vehicle for repair and service appointments.
Facilitates regular and timely van cleaning, fuel and oil checks as needed.
3. Completes all documentation, including timesheets, inventory list, supply orders, and vehicle maintenance logs within required timeframe.
Completes vehicle maintenance logs and time sheets within required timeframe.
4. Provides pick-up and delivery of agency supplies, equipment and mail between the 5 sites.
Provides interoffice mail delivery between LBS sites.
Purchases program supplies and equipment as needed.
