What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehabilitation Specialist position at Lincoln Behavioral Services?
The Clubhouse Generalist Staff work under the Supervision of the PSR Program Manager. This person will engage members in Clubhouse activities including: the work ordered day; the development and achievement of members’ goals; and linkage and coordination with community resources. Generalists utilize the Clubhouse Standards as a best practice and follow the strengths-based and person centered models to facilitate member engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:
- Reports to work on time as scheduled and at the location assigned.
- Trainings completed as required.
- Ensures member engagement with all Clubhouse opportunities including; the Work Ordered Day, Employment, Education, Outreach, Social Activities, Wellness initiatives and Decision Making.
- Assists members in the development, evaluation, documentation, and achievement of individual recovery goals congruent with the Individual Plan of Service.
- Attends and participates in socialization activities during evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Assigned to Transitional Employment Placements, coverage, coaching and placement.
- Demonstrate the skills necessary to teach all job related tasks in the unit.
- Models positive relationships with staff, members and the larger community.
- Creates a supportive environment conducive to consumer learning.
- Teach step by step instructions needed to complete tasks.
- Provides input to the treatment team to facilitate efficient operation of the program and provision of consumer services..
- Utilizes recovery principles when working with consumers.
- Practices Person-Centered Planning Principles.
- Coordinates effectively with other agency staff on behalf of the member and the Clubhouse.
- Completes all documentation within required timeframe, including time sheets, progress notes, person-centered plans, and any other identified documentation.
- Completes other assigned responsibilities in a reasonable established timeframe, with quality expectations.

The PSR Generalist efficiently manages their workday, consistently meets required timeframes and ensures the highest quality of service delivery and member satisfaction.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Prior Clubhouse experiences or mental health services is preferred.
- Licensure is preferred.
- Experience in MS Windows application.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to establish professional working relationships with all members and staff.
- Must be able to work effectively as a team member.
- Knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
