Position : Stage Manager

Contract : Seasonal (April 21st-August 29th)

Department : Event Production

Role Overview : Reporting to the Production Manager, Damrosch Park, the Stage Manager position is an hourly role that is responsible for the successful day-to-day execution of events for the summer festival. This work will take place onsite in the public areas including Damrosch Park.

What you'll get to do here :

  • Onsite coordination from the months of May through August
  • Collaborate with venue Production Manager to manage union and non-union labor
  • Support the Line Producer to achieve a successful event
  • Facilitate onsite artist needs with Company Management
  • Operate as the show caller for events including audio, lighting, and talent cues upholding the artistic vision
  • Responsible for the adherence to Lincoln Center policies and festival safety procedures, including the execution of the weather action plan
  • Working hours will vary, covering events throughout the festival, including nights and weekends

You'll be a fit if you bring :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience stage managing live events, dance, concerts, or theater, or equivalent experience
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
  • An interest in working on a diverse mix of arts disciplines, including music, dance, theater, and spoken word
