Paint Prep at Lincoln Center Manufacturing
We are looking for an industrious employee to join our team. Your skills will add to the creation of quality and custom products. Enjoy a work environment that allows for variation of work that are unique among typical assembly line manufacturing facilities. You will prepare a variety of surfaces for paint, potentially including: aluminum, ferrous metal, wood, shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories, light fixtures, plates, and other surfaces as specified.
Pay Type: Hourly
Pay Rate: $14.5-24.5

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (overtime if schedule dictates)
Travel Requirement: Occasional (less than 5% of work days) Work authorization: United States (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Competencies Required:

- · Assist in body and paint and collision repair on various vehicles, tanks and beds
- · Be able to remove body parts and reassemble as required
- · Knowledge of pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations pertaining to occupational safety, health and air pollution control
- · Able to use, store and dispose of paint and cleaning products and chemicals, following safety protocols
- · Understanding of material properties & characteristics of critically used materials such as metals, fittings and fasteners
- · Knowledge of shop tools, machinery, and equipment
- · Willing to prioritize the maintenance of a clean and orderly work area
- · Able to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- · Familiarity with the metric system and able to perform shop math; convert decimals to fractional equivalents, and fractions to decimal equivalents
Physical requirements:

- o Able to lift 40#, minimum
- o Able to stand or walk continuously for long periods of time
- o Able to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and crawl
- o Able to work at heights on scaffolding and ladders
- o Able to operate motorized vehicles and equipment (Lift truck experience preferred)
- o Able to see in a normal vision range with, or without correction – and sufficient vision to read printed documents and to operate equipment
- o Able to see color
- o Able to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
