Position: Technology Integration Specialist

Reports To:

Chief of Staff, Office of the Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary:

The Technology Integration Specialist is responsible for ensuring all employees, regardless of tenure, have seamless access to the tools, systems, and training needed to maximize productivity and engagement with technology. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role focuses on delivering, developing and standardizing the onboarding experience for new employees, delivering ongoing training for existing staff, and maintaining robust documentation and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve technology integration across the organization. By streamlining onboarding processes, delivering proactive and comprehensive training that emphasizes safe and effective technology usage, and resolving integration challenges, the Technology Integration Specialist will enhance productivity, improve the employee experience, and ensure the organization fully leverages its technology resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Onboarding and Integration:
    • Oversee the setup of devices, accounts, and system access for new hires, role transitions, and internal transfers, ensuring timely and efficient integration with organizational systems.
    • Collaborate with department managers to align onboarding and integration processes with role-specific requirements.
  • Ongoing Training and Enablement:
    • Develop and deliver ongoing technology training programs for all employees, ensuring they are equipped with the skills to effectively and securely use organizational tools, systems, and resources.
    • Provide targeted training sessions for system updates, new tools, evolving technology practices, and cybersecurity best practices to promote safe and compliant technology usage.
  • Documentation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including onboarding guides, system usage manuals, and knowledge base resources.
    • Establish and manage feedback loops with employees to identify gaps and continuously improve onboarding, training, and integration processes.
  • Support and Collaboration:
    • Act as a key resource for troubleshooting and resolving technology integration challenges for all employees, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
    • Partner with IT teams and organizational leadership to identify opportunities for improving processes and enhancing employee engagement with technology.

Key Qualifications:

  • Alternatively, transferable experience in running orientations, completing HR generalist responsibilities, Creative and/or Technical Writing.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation and training materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow or Freshservice.
  • Strong technical expertise in device provisioning, account management, and enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Office 365, Zoom, or Teams.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or e-learning platforms for training delivery.
  • Basic understanding of IT security and compliance practices related to account lifecycle management.
  • Strong interest in technology or adaptable to learning technology onboarding processes
  • 1-3 years' experience (including internships)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
