Lincoln Charter School Athletics is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach and / or JV Head Volleyball Coach for the upcoming season.
Position Details :
Roles : Assistant Varsity Head Coach and / or JV Head Coach and / or MS Head Coach
Location : Lincoln Charter School, 7834 Galway LN Denver NC
Season : Fall 2025
Key Responsibilities :
Foster skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes.
Collaborate with the Varsity Head Coach to execute practice plans and game strategies (Assistant Varsity).
Lead the JV team in practices, matches, and team management (JV Head Coach).
Promote a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture.
Qualifications :
Previous coaching or playing experience in volleyball is preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
A commitment to education-based athletics and the development of student-athletes on and off the court.

Additional Responsibilities
- Attend all preseason and postseason individual meetings with the Athletic Director as well as staff development leadership seminars led by the Athletic Department
- Support the Head Coach in developing and executing a regular practice plan
- Articulate your strengths and set your role in the program with the Head Coach
- Assist with the evaluation of students' athletic abilities on an ongoing basis
- Ensure core values are consistently presented and enforced
- Support of multisport participation for student-athletes
- Promotion of balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes
- Adhere to the policies, procedures, and guiding principles of the Athletic Handbook
- Work in tandem with Athletic Training staff to properly handle injury prevention and treatment
- Display a willingness to grow and develop through coaching clinics, seminars, and observation with feedback
- Abide by the rules of the NCHSAA
- A minimum of 1 year of coaching experience is preferred at the middle or high school level or 2 years of playing experience at the high school level or above
- Must be able to arrive at least an hour before the start of competitions and on time daily for practice.
- Coaches are responsible for game day setup (assure the gym is setup according to rules and regulations of the sport)
