Job Description:
We are a Commercial Real Estate Educational Brokerage seeking a skilled and reliable Video Editor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain hands-on experience while contributing to content creation. The position is based in Plantation, Florida, and requires the intern to work 20 hours per week in-person minimum.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for video production, strong editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery. You will play an essential role in editing videos, capturing footage, and maintaining our content database.
A great ancillary benefit is that you will be receiving and extensive education in commercial real estate investment sales just for being part of the team.
You will be provided with all the equipment and online resources needed.
Having your own equipment in addition to ours will be a major plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead video production & editing: Take ownership of editing projects, ensuring content is high-quality, polished, and ready for distribution.
- Capture property & campaign footage: Film video content on-site, including property tours, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Process daily mentorship content: Edit and prepare mentorship session videos for distribution and internal use.
- Create podcast episode & clips: Edit audio and video clips/episodes for use across multiple platforms.
- Maintain content database: Organize and catalog footage, ensuring easy access and proper storage of all assets.
Weekly Priorities:
- Prioritize time-sensitive content: Ensure urgent or time-sensitive video projects are completed first.
- Process book & property content first: Focus on video editing related to book promotions and property-related content before other tasks.
- Handle mentorship footage when available: Process mentorship videos as they are received, ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensure content meets campaign demands: Ensure that all content aligns with marketing and campaign goals and meets quality standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in video editing (internships, freelance, or personal projects are acceptable).
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and all of its creative programs.
- Ability to shoot video footage and use of green screen.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
- Knowledge of social media content formats and trends is a plus.
