Press Brake Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The Press Brake Operator will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that all products meet quality standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts as per blueprints and specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and adjust machine settings accordingly.
• Utilize tooling effectively for various bending operations, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.

Experience

• Proficiency in operating press brake machines is essential.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and techniques.
• Experience with welding, CNC machining, milling machines, lathes, or stamping presses is highly desirable.
• Strong blueprint reading skills are necessary for interpreting technical drawings.
• Previous experience operating forklifts is a plus.
• Knowledge of tooling used in press brake operations is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
