Clinical Counselor 5 : $80,720.00 - $108,482.00 Annually
The Behavioral Health division of the Lincoln County Health and Human Services Department is looking for a Clinical Counselor specifically to assist with Children and Family Services in our School Based Health Clinics (SBHC).
The person in this position will provide professional community behavioral health services through individual and group psychotherapy and counseling of clients.
This role is also responsible for the delivery of behavioral health services for prevention of child abuse and neglect, hospitalizations, crime and delinquency, and for improved County safety and quality of living.
Based on qualifications and experience, we are looking to fill either a Clinical Counselor 4 or Clinical Counselor 5 position.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Counselor 4 or 5 provides individual, family and / or group counseling, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, case management and discharge planning :
- Document services provided and communicates with client and care team as needed.
- Assess and triage individuals in crisis. Provide short term counseling.
- Prepare documents for referrals if needed.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum Education Level
Masters : Specializing in counseling, psychology or related field.
Minimum Experience Level
One year working with special needs clients.
Certifications
Specifics : If qualified, tasks require the following : CGAC, Certified Gambling Addiction Counseling; CADC Certified Addictions Counselor; (EASA)Early Assessment Support Alliance; PCIT Parent Child Interaction Therapy. This position is classified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
Driver's License
This position requires an insurable driving record and a valid Oregon driver's License within in 30 days of appointment.
Other Licenses
Specifics : LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required. The employee is required to maintain current and active licensure and / or certification and to provide the appropriate verifications at the time of renewals.
Desirable Qualifications : Bilingual and / or bicultural competencies for Latino population is preferred. CGAC, CADC, EASA, PCIT are preferred.

Lincoln County offers a comprehensive benefit package including vacation, holiday, and sick leave as well as medical, dental, vision which is paid at 90% by the County and 10% by the employee. Other fully paid benefits include life, AD&D, long-term disability insurance. Other optional insurances are available. A 401K retirement plan is also provided. The County's current contribution rate is 11%.
Regular and Trial Service employees working between 20 - 39 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for pro-rated employee benefits.
